Discipline-oriented study programs
The ESAVS discipline-oriented programs are based on the concept of Advanced Veterinary Studies (AVS). The AVS courses focus in depth on certain disciplines for those who have a specific interest in these areas (e.g. dermatology, neurology, internal medicine, etc.) and can potentially use these courses as a stepping stone towards specialization.
Note: All courses and correspondence are in ENGLISH and depending on the course, range from between 3, 5 and 10 days in duration.
Standard study programs:
Residential Courses: 2 - 4 (1 per year)
Course duration: between 5 and 10 days
Distance learning modules: 1 - 2
Requirements: university education and academic degree
Intensive courses:
Residential course: one single course on a specific subject
Course duration: between 3 - 6 days
Distance learning module: 0
Requirements: university education, academic degree and advanced experience.
