 Redrobe, Sharon, Dr. (University of Bristol, UK)
Sharon Redrobe is the Head of Veterinary Services at Bristol Zoo Gardens, responsible for the veterinary care for over 1200 animals of 350 species including mammals, reptiles, fish, birds and invertebrates. Sharon has worked exclusively with exotic species for over 10 years. She holds the RCVS Diploma in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine and the RCVS Certificate in Laboratory Animal Science and is an RCVS Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine. Sharon has an honorary lectureship at the University of Bristol. She has over 70 journal and book publications and spoken at numerous conferences including BSAVA, British Veterinary Zoological Society, WSAVA, Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, American Association Zoo Veterinarians and is the co-editor of the new BSAVA Manual of Exotic Pets.
