Walton, Ronald, Dr. (US Army Institute of Surgical Research, Fort Sam Houston, USA)
is a 1986 graduate of the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an internship at the University of Georgia in 1987 and a Masters Degree and Residencies in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine and Critical Care in 1997 at Colorado State University. He became certified as a Diplomate in the American Colleges of Veterinary Internal Medicine and Emergency and Critical Care Medicine in 1997. Dr. Walton was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Army in 1988 and has had assignments as White House Veterinary Officer, US Secret Service Working Dog Medical Care Officer, Commander, US Army Veterinary Detachment Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Deputy Commander 51st Medical Detachment, Germany and Chief.
