OVERVIEW

Under the scientific responsibility of the European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction (EVSSAR) a new training program entitled Reproduction in companion, exotic and laboratory animals is offered. This course is designed for veterinarians wishing to broaden their knowledge and level of competency in this continuously developing field of veterinary medicine. This intensive training will include fundamental as well as the most recent clinical advancements and will be mainly structured on problem solving teaching and case based oriented learning. At the end of this course, the attending veterinarians will be able to possess the level of competency necessary to solve most of the problems in daily practice and kennel management.
This education may serve and be included in the alternative pathway to become recognised as a specialist in small animal reproduction.

The complete training program will consist of two consecutive courses of 5 days each held at one year intervals :
2013 : I - Physiology and pathology in female, and artificial insemination. 2014 : II - Physiology and pathology of male and biotechnologies in reproduction.
During the courses lectures, demonstrations, case presentations and laboratory studies will be organised. The course language is English.
